The sacked Rivers elected chairmen were having a meeting in Abuja when the news of their sack filtered in. It is alleged that they were in a meeting with Rivers APC leader 'Rotimi Amaechi'.
The war between Gov. Wike and his former friend Amaechi has taken a new dimension as it appears that Wike is winning. Some PDP stalwart have always expressed optimism that the end of Amaechi's political dynasty is near, but it appears the end has come.
