The federal government of Nigeria has announced
Tuesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 6, 2016 as public holidays to mark
Eid-ul-Fitri celebrations.
Eid-ul-Fitr
is an annual event which marks the end of the 29 0r 30 days Ramadan fast by
Muslims all over the world.

Gen Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd), minister of interior announced the Eid-ul-Fitr
public holidays on behalf of the government of the federation on Thursday, June
30 at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
