2015 FAAN Recruitment interview a Scam?

Report reaching me has it that the just concluded interview which is part of the FAAN recruitment exercise was filled with mixed reactions as some Successful Candidates who got an sms to attend the interview were allowed to take part in the interview. 

It was learned that the interview held at different parts of the country, a candidate who got an invitation from FAANRECRUIT  to his story.....

I got this sms from FAANRECRUIT "Congratulations, you are invited to attend FAAN interview on Wednesday 18/3/2015. TIME: 9am. VENUE: Any centre closer to you. Kindly Check www.faanrecruitment.com for details. Enquiries: 08079777768."

I checked www.faanrecruitment.com and discovered i was supposed to report to Federal Road Safety Training School Udi, Enugu State. It was stated that candidates from Abia, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Rivers, Cross Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo and Enugu who applied for the position of Data Management Officer II were to report to the venue.

The venue was filled with candidates when i arrived and we were given number tags in order we will be attended to. I was 144 in line and ad waited patiently for my turn. The interview was on till at about 5pm and it was almost 20 person before my turn, an official came announcing to us that we will now be attended to based on a score of 70 and above from the initial online test that qualified us for the interview. A list was brought and the names of all the successful candidates invited for the interview were there, and some candidates who's score were not up to 70 had also been attended to. At that point we were chased away from the interview venue and I became frustrated. I managed to put my self together, found my way out of Udi and got a place where I passed the night as I could not return to Ogoja in Cross-River state where I came from.

I was moved my his story and have been wondering what could have been the reason why some candidates with a score below 70 were attended to, while some where not. I wonder why it still remains difficult for a Government agency to conduct a hitch free recruitment exercise. I know that nothing will be done in this case even if the matter is taken to the National Assembly, reason is because no body died as in the case of Nigerian Immigration Service recruitment.
