different clubs. As usual, the European clubs dominate the list of the world’s
richest clubs. Thanks to the sponsorship deals, sale of club uniforms to the

powerful leagues that are sponsored by big sponsors.
The end of the season was marked by an increment of revenues
earned by different clubs. According to different sources, the 20 richest clubs
reached 6.79 billion Euros which was higher compared to 873 million Euros in
the previous season. In the top 10 richest clubs, Spanish La liga has the top 2
teams, the English premier league has 5 teams, Bundesliga has 1 team, Serie A
has 1 team while the French league is represented by PSG football club. Let’s

10. LIVERPOOL
This is one of the oldest clubs in the European
football and the premier league. It has 19 premier league titles and 5 UEFA
titles to its name which makes it the most successful team in England. During
2013-2014 season, the club’s revenues increased by 65 million Euros compared to
the previous season. This pushed it up the ladder and get ranked among the top
10 richest soccer clubs in the world. It recorded a turnover of $313Million
during 2013-2014 season which pushed the club’s total value to $691Million.
9. JUVENTUS
This is
among the oldest clubs in Italy and one of the most successful ones as well.
Just last season, the team won Serie A title which according to many soccer
analytics, it boosted their annual income. Just the previous year, it had an
annual turnover of about $248Million which appreciated their value to
$694Million. In 2013-2014, the turnover increased to $353Million and the club’s
total value is currently $850Million.
8. AC MILAN
This is also one of the most successful clubs
in Italy as well as in Europe. The previous season, the club recorded a turn
over of about $343Million all thanks to their sponsors such as Fly Emirates. This made the club’s
value rise to $856Million. Last season, the annual revenue for AC MILAN was
$326Million which consequently raised the club’s value to $945Milion.
7. MACHESTER CITY
Since 2010, this English premier league has
become a force to reckon with in both domestic and Europe competition. After
being bought by the Rich Billionaires in 2010, Manchester City has completely
evolved in terms of soccer and now competes with legendary clubs like Real
Madrid and Barcelona in terms of buying players as well as fighting for
trophies in England. Since 2010, the club has won various titles which has

an annual turnover of $409Million making the club’s worth move to $901Million.

This is another English club in the list of top
10 richest clubs in the world. Since 1995-1996 season, the manager Arsene
Wenger has always tried to finish among the top four in the Barclays premier league in order to participate in UEFA Champions League which is a
huge source of money for many clubs. The club also has sponsorship deals with
the likes of Puma, Fly Emirates and Nike that earn them huge sums of money in a
single season. Last year, Arsenal recorded revenue of $370Milion and a net
worth of $1,330Million.
4. BAYERN MUNICH
This is the only team from Germany to feature
among the richest soccer clubs in the world. It is the most successful team in
Germany having won the UEFA Champions league most times as well as the Bundesliga. Apart from
winning these Titles, the club has several sponsorship deals that earn it a lot
of cash. In the last five years, Bayern Munich has managed to feature among the
top 5 richest clubs in the world and is still a force to reckon with when it
comes to money league. In 2014, it recorded annual revenue of $561Milllion and
has a value of $1850Million compared to the previous year where it recorded a
revenue of $468million and a value of $1390Million.
3. MANCHESTER UNITED
This is the richest club in the premier league.
It’s also the most successful team in England having won the most Barclay
premier league titles and 3 Champions league titles. In terms of money,
Manchester United hasn’t been left behind either even though it failed to
qualify for the Champions league in 2014-2015 season. The money comes from the
assets of the club as well as sponsorship deals from different companies. Lat
year it recorded revenue of around $551Million and a club value of $2.81Billion.
2. FC BARCELONA
This is the second valuable club in the world
with the likes of Lionel Messi, Louis Suarez and Neymar Jr. It has always
featured among the top 5 richest clubs for the last 5 years. The team revenue
for 2014 in 2014 was $627Million while the club is valued at $3.20Billion.
1. REAL MADRID
This is the richest club in the world as
it stands. Since long time ago, Real Madrid has always bought the most
expensive players during the transfer window such as David Beckham, Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and James
Rudriguez. In 2014, Real Madrid’s revenue was estimated to be $675Million while
it value was $3.40billion.
Most
of the top ten clubs’ worth are from assets, sponsorship deals and titles they
have won over the years. Other sources include sale of tickets as well as the
