Beyonce's Mum Tina Knowles's Weds Richard Lawson

Beyoncé has shared the first picture from her mum Tina Knowles's wedding to 67-year-old actor Richard Lawson this weekend.

This is Tina's second marriage after she divorced Bey's father Mathew Knowles in 2011. She met Richard, who is best known for appearing in US soap All My Children, in the summer of 2013.

But Tina has admitted she wasn't sure at first. "My friend says [to him], 'Okay Richard! Do you know any men?' And he's like, 'Well, what's she looking for?' So I say, 'You know, I want somebody with integrity, that believes in God, that likes to dance, likes to have fun and appreciates art.' And he's like, 'Oh! Well, what about me?' And we both say, 'Hell no!' So he says, 'Okay, well, I'll see who I can think of.'"

Not long after, they met up again and everything changed. This was around the time Tina's ex-husband had re-married. 'We had this great lunch and he said, 'I want to support you during this time. I'm going to come to Houston.' 

"So he came to Houston, I went to LA afterwards [...]. I'm in a committed relationship with that handsome man! And I'm the happiest I've been in a long, long time."

Of course the wedding was fancy as hell, with the ceremony taking place on a massive yacht that cruised around Newport Beach harbour in the California sunshine.

Continuing the theme from Solange's wedding back in November 2014, everyone was dressed in white, including Jay Z, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, with the girls wearing gorgeous flower garlands in their hair. Tina donned a floor-length white Romona Keveza gown with a gold belt.

Speaking about finding love again after her divorce, Tina said at a Woman & Money Leadership Luncheon in Texas last year that thought of dating again "was the scariest thing in the world!"

"I just really had forgotten how to live," she said. "I had just lost all of myself.  I was so busy working and going and taking care of everybody else that I just forgot about Tina. The whole thing about dating was the scariest thing in the world! I would tell my friends, 'Where am I gonna find somebody at 59 years old? Where do you meet men? Where do you get them? And they're all gone.'"
