We have heard so many campaign promises during the 2015 electioneering period. Now, winners have emerged and Gen. Mohamadu Buhari is now our president-elect and is to assume office on May 29th. I wish to remind us that he made lots of juices promises to Nigerians which earned him victory at the polls.
During Buhari’s campaign for the elective position of Nigerian president, he
promised to
-Fight corruption
-Position the economy
-Provide jobs
-Reduce fuel
price to N45.00 per liter
-Pay N5,000 per month for every unemployed youth
-Generate 48,000 megawatts of electricity within 4 years
-Stabilize oil price
among others.
Now his performance clock will start ticking after 29th May handover.
I pray for him that he may change Nigeria "positively".
