Riley B King was his birth name, but
the Beales Street Blues Boy’s moniker B.B King is what would live on in
people’s memory.
The almost 90 year old guitarist
passed away peacefully in his sleep, his lawyers announced, according to the New York Daily News.
Known for hits like ‘Lucille’ and
‘Rock Me Baby’, King inspired whole new generations of musicians, and
unsurprisingly is an inductee in both the Blues and Rock and Roll Hall of
Fames.
The 15 time Grammy award winner had
been suffering from diabetes and
had been in and out of hospital care.
Condolences to his daughter and the
rest of his family at this trying time.
