It is known, for a variety of reasons, as a remarkable time in a woman's
life. But as many will attest, pregnancy can wreak havoc on the body.
The average woman puts on up to two and a half stone (35 lbs or 16kg),
and many complain they are left with dropping breasts, stretch marks and swollen
feet.
But from having hot flushes and developing thread veins to being
constantly our of breath, there are other, less well known changes pregnant
mothers should expect.
