Pastor Penuel of the End Times Ministries Arrested after Feeding his Congregation with Snakes

The world famous South African pastor who feeds his followers snakes and other assorted items which he has allegedly turned into chocolate, has reportedly been arrested in South Africa.

Pastor Penuel of the End Times Ministries has become something of an online sensation, with his bizarre stunt and gullible congregation who see him as some sort of god. Thankfully, reports indicate he has been arrested in his homeland. 

He appeared in court on Monday with a charge of animal cruelty, reports South African website Times Live.

Society for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals (SPCA) of South Africa made the case against him, and police arrested him based on their complaint. He was released on a R1, 500 (24,000 Naira) bail.

“I don’t keep reptiles in my house or church. “I catch them when I need them” Was the pastors defence. “God gave me the power to turn them into chocolate.”

Last week it was reported that Penuel Mnguni, 24, of End Times Disciples Ministries Church in Soshanguve, Pretoria, instructed his congregation to eat snakes, saying, he  has turned the snakes into chocolate bars through prayers and they gladly did as he had instructed. The church proudly took photos and actually posted them on their official facebook wall…
