Alhaja Zainab Asari Dokubo, the first wife of Mujahid Dokubo Asari, is dead. She died alongside a friend in a motor accident on her way to Ibadan.
She was survived by four children Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama.

Gov. Wike Receives 25,883 Billion Naria From Federal Allocation For The Month Of July 2016
Thirty-six states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, collectively smiled home in the month of July when they pocketed a whopping N673.324billion as their share of statutory allocation and first tranche of the excess crude earnings distribution for the period.
This was revealed in a document from the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation titled: Distribution of Statutory Allocation and Excess Crude Proceeds to the three tiers of Government in July 2016.

Shell PENGASSAN Begins Indefinite Strike Action
The SHELL Chapter of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) commenced an indefinite strike action today over issues relating to funding of the oil industry by Federal Government.
The immediate impact on the operations of Shell Companies in Nigeria is that the Shell branch of PENGASSAN has withdrawn the services of its members in office locations, but as source confirmed that field operations are still going on.
In the meantime, we have received information that Federal Government has convened a meeting involving all stakeholders for Monday, July 11, 2016.
