GHANA Marks Independence Day Today 6th March 2015

Did you know that today is independence day in ghana?

After years of suffering under British colonial rule, Ghana, known as the Gold Coast,became the first African State to achieve independence in March 6, 1957.  Ghana is located on West Africa's Gulf of Guinea, a few degrees north of the equator.  It was one of the richest countries in Africa before its conquest by the British.
