PHOTOS: Uniport Student Rampage at UPTH over the Death of Their Colleague

Report reaching me confirms that student of University of Portharcourt were on a rampage on Sunday 30th of August at the University Teaching Hospital (UPTH) following the death of a female student of the University after she was rushed to the hospital as an emergency but no medical personnel was available to attend to her after many hours.

An eye witness confirmed that workers (doctors/nurses) of UPTH took to their heel for fear that the angry student on rampage may lynch them. Patients who were on treatment in the Hospital were left to their fate as all medical personnel ran away for their dear life.
Photographs taken from the Children Emergency Center of the Hospital confirms that not even a soul is remaining in then ward, families of children under intensive care made away with their children seeing that no staff member of the hospital was available to attend of the children who need serious medical attention. 

There has been series of report of poor Hospital infrastructure and work attitude of medical staff members. As at the time of filing this report, the Hospital has been deserted and the Hospital Management is yet to issue any statement.
