Terrence Howard revealed under oath on Monday that he did drugs and
watched porn with ex-wife Michelle Ghent. The Empire star, who's battling to
overturn a financial settlement he signed with his second wife at the time of
their 2012 divorce, told a Los Angeles court he's a changed person since they
split.
The 46-year-old actor testified he and Ghent would smoke weed and do
cocaine and ecstasy and watch a lot of porn together during their relationship,
according to TMZ.
Since the divorce, Howard has enjoyed huge success as Lucious Lyon in
the Fox TV series about a music mogul and his family. Ghent, who receives
spousal support of $5,800 a month, is arguing she should get more cash from her
ex-husband.
Howard claims he signed the divorce settlement agreement in 2012 'under
extreme duress.'
On Friday, he broke down in tears as he testified that his former wife
had threatened to tell people he had a sexually transmitted disease that would
have made it extremely difficult for him to land a job in showbiz.
He's said Ghent, whom he wed in 2010, had blackmailed him by threatening
to release naked images and videos as well. He also testified that she kicked
food all over him in a jealous rage over a make-out scene with Jennifer Hudson.
Arguing for a reduction in the alimony he has to pay, the actor has
claimed he only earns about $5,878 a month and most of that goes to his first
wife Lori McMasters.
He was married to McMasters from 1989 to 2003 and again from 2005 to
2007 and they have three children together. His third wife Miranda Howard, whom
he wed in 2013, gave birth to their first child, a son Qirin in June.
