Saraki Remains as Senate President As Senators Passes Vote Of Confidence

The Senators have passed a vote of confidence on Saraki who was  arraigned and docked by the Code of Conduct Tribunal on a 13 count charges involving false assets declaration.
The Senate which met today, Tuesday, passed the vote of confidence on Saraki amidst rowdy session. Similarly, Senate expects ministerial list from the president as speculations become high as for which prominent competent Nigerians will make the list.
However, following the vote of confidence on Saraki, some pro-Saraki supporters converge at the Senate entrance to chant solidarity songs for Saraki and his deputy Ike Ekweremadu.

It's been rumored for months now that Apple was looking to get into the car business and now it appears we finally have some confirmation.  According to a new report, the tech brand is not only building an electric car in a now not-so-top-secret mission called “Project Titan,” but also aims to begin selling it as soon as 2019

I am a freak of cars and technology and i want to believe that apple's planned combination of both will beat my imagination.

My goodness, i never thought that this creativity could come out from Nollywood. This is the way to go and i expect that they will even come up with more stunning makeup and post production effects to make Nollywood movie production more real..... Chief Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is spending his last days in office as Governor of Rivers State, according to the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The party was reacting to the statement credited to PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, who was quoted as saying about the failure of PDP and INEC counsels to appear before the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on Friday, September 18: “Even if our lawyers and witnesses didn’t appear at the Rivers Tribunal today and the remaining days, it doesn’t stop us PDP from winning at the judgment. But should we fail at judgment, we shall win even above 1.5 million votes in Rivers State re-run Governorship and other elections.”

HBO’s Game of Thrones finally broke its duck at the Emmy’s, taking away the award for the ‘Outstanding Drama Series’ for the first time in its five year run. Thrones has been one of the best shows on television since its inception in 2011, but a combination of pop culture phenomena Breaking Bad and Mad Men always robbed the show of the biggest Emmy nod.

Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, also picked up an award on the night. HBO Comedy Veep were the other big winners on the night, ending Modern Family’s five year run by taking home the award for ‘Outstanding Comedy Series’

A new study, published in the journal Dermatologica Sinica, makes the claim that men who lose their hair circa age 30, generally have a lower sperm count. The study sought to look into a very popular urban legend, that bald men are very virile.

Ministerial List: Amaechi Fails Security Screening

As the Department of State Service, DSS, continues the screening of some ministerial nominees, indications emerged at the weekend that three immediate past governors, Babatunde Fashola, Rotimi Ameachi and Kayode Fayemi, have allegedly failed to pass the President’s anti-corruption test.

The three former governors worked hard for the former Head of State to emerge the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential flag bearer as well as for him to get elected President and were seen as top contenders for positions in Buhari’s cabinet.

TRAGIC: More Than Seven Wounded As Hotel Collapses In Delta

No fewer than seven persons, including a female police officer and ADC to the First Lady of a northern state (names withheld), were injured in the wee hours of Wednesday, when the popular Mekaval Hotel located in Effurun-Warri, Delta State collapsed.

It was gathered that the collapse hotel was similar to the collapse of the Synagogue of All Nation Church in Lagos, as the victims were mostly indigenes of neighboring state who besieged the city seeking salvation at the Christ Mercy Land Church, headed by Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin, popularly called ‘Ijaw TB Joshua’ by followers.
