Hoodlums attack Gov. Amaechi’s younger brother with Machete

Chidi Adi Amaechi, the younger brother of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign was violently attacked in the early hours of Wednesday, 11 March. The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, David Iyofor, in a statement said “the younger Amaechi who is a student of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State was viciously attacked by assailants in his accommodation in the school with machetes.” He said Chidi Adi Amaechi was inflicted with life threatening cuts and injuries. “At present, doctors say his condition is critical.”
