Rivers State Civil Servants to Apply for Salary Loan Due to Unpaid Salaries

News reaching us has it that Rivers State civil servants are getting text messages from Banks to apply for salary loans pending the payment of their salaries by the Rivers state government. It appears that the state civil servants salaries may not be paid any time soon. 

You will recall that Rivers state pensioners had carried out a protest, demanding for their unpaid pension. It is believed by many that the state has gone broke as  our Oga at the top, Chibuike Amaechi allegedly looted the state treasury to fund the APC.
