The New President of National Union of Rivers State Students promises to work with Gov-elect, NYESOM WIKE

The National Union of Rivers State Students, NURSS has commended the outgoing Governor of Rivers State CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI for his contribution towards the development of students during his tenure.

The new President of NURSS VINCENT DAN-JUMBO in his acceptance speech at the inauguration of the new executives of the student body also said Students in the state would form a formidable partnership with the Governor-Elect Nyesom Wike to actualize the vision of a better Rivers State.
In his remarks, the out gone President of the National Union of Rivers State Students CHUKWULADI MASI urged the new executives of the students union to continue with the agitation to ensure the payment of the two years bursary arrears being owed the students by Rivers State government.

In his speech Special Adviser to the Governor on Students Affairs MATTHEW OSIKA said the Rivers State Government is working on a modality to establish a student trust fund to take care of their financial issues.
