Crystal Palace launch new home and away kits for 2015-16 Premier League season

Crystal Palace have unveiled their new kits for their third consecutive season in the Barclays Premier League as Alan Pardew's side look to push on, with a glance back to the club's history.

The new home and away shirts, manufactured by Italian brand Macron, were shown off to supporters for the first time on Wednesday night at the club's Annual Awards night.
The red-and-blue striped home shirt sticks with Palace tradition, while the vertical-banded away offering is said to be inspired by famous sash kits of the past.
Chairman Steve Parish said: 'There's only so many things you can do with a striped shirt so we take a lot of inspiration from the fans and look at kits around Europe and I think the two shirts we've got this year, particularly the away shirt, are fantastic. 'We have completely unique shirts that are designed specifically for us by Macron who are brilliant partners so we're looking at having the same success this year.'

The shirts are as-yet without a sponsor, with a new brand set to be applied to the designs to replace current partners Neteller. Both the home and away jerseys featured 'Crystal Palace FC' embroidered below the neck, while fans will be able to purchase either standard or skin-tight 'body-fit' versions.

The shirt the players will wear are said to have been designed using a mix of elastics to increase player comfort and breathability. Palace will make the kits - to be worn by the likes of club Player of the Year Scott Dann - available for pre-order from June 1 priced at £44.99 for a standard adult shirt and £34.99 for a junior shirt.
