Presently at ward 10 polling unit 008 in Expand, Warri, Delta state. Still no sign of INEC officials or observers just patient voters waiting to carry out their civic right at about 09:48hrs. And also learnt that other units across ward 10 are still yet to see any signs of INEC officials and also the card reader at the president's ward is not working.

Timariv Officer killed in gun shoot out

Unknow gun men on mask stormed an area at market junction along Ikwerre road and started shooting sporadically. Two timariv officers were at the junction controlling traffic when the shooting started. One of the officers died after he was caught by a stray bullet.

Election is here again and please people, let us be reminded and don't forget especially us youths that these politicians will never be killed once there is post election crises. They have all it takes to jet out of this country while the ordinary people will remain and die. Therefore, no youth should support the call for war or participate in war before, during and after this election. The PDP chairman through his twitter handle yesterday advised same. He reminded Nigerians that Buhari and Jonathan will remain friends forever. He also reminded Nigerians that Buhari and Jonathan have entered Nigeria's history book for good but that no one will ever remember you and I if we go and die fighting for them. It will be stupid and foolish for anyone to support violence or participate in it. Let all aggrieved politicians go through the legal means to address their grievances. Youths from the North, South, West and East should think of Nigeria. Politicians are not interested in Nigeria. Let their Children be the first to go on the streets for crises. Just look at them and walk away. Never join them. All you need to do is to go out there and vote your choice and conscience. If your choice loses, so be it and pray that your choice should win next time. Reject or accept any of the contestants with your votes only not with guns or cutlasses or any weapon. You might be the one to lose his life or your loved ones. Peace be with you and Nigeria.

African Man superglues his wife's vagina together after accusing her of cheating

Reports have emerged from Mpumalanga in Africa, where a woman says she can never have sex again after her husband poured superglue into her vagina after accusing her of cheating on him.

The unnamed man accused his wife of having had an affair with her own uncle, and reportedly told her he was going to "teach her a lesson" because of it.

Detroit mother to appear in court after 2 children found in freezer

A 35-year-old mother of two Detroit children whose frozen bodies were found in a deep freezer in their home is due in court on five counts of first-degree child abuse.

Mitchelle Blair faces arraignment today. She could face more serious charges once investigators determine how the children died.

Blair was arrested Tuesday after court officers serving an eviction notice opened the freezer and found the bodies of her daughter Stoni Ann Blair and her son Stephen Gage Berry.

TAN rally shuts down commercial activities in Lagos

Judge orders NCC, telecoms firms to pay APC N500m

Eugene Ikemefuna Juwah, the Executive Vice Chairman, NCC

A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the Nigerian Communications Commission and five others to pay the All Progressives Congress a sum of N500m over unlawful shutting down of its presidential campaign fund-raising platform.

Apart from NCC, the other judgment debtors are Etisalat, MTN Nigeria Limited, Globacom Limited, Airtel Nigeria Limited and Visafone Communications Limited.

4D scans shows how unborn babies are affected when their mums smoke

The 4D images, taken during the 32nd week of pregnancy, show a clear difference: the babies of smoking mothers were seen touching their faces significantly more than those with non-smoking mothers.

Boko Haram captures about 500 Nigerian Children

Reports came in that up to 500 Nigerian children have been kidnapped from Damasak in Borno state Nigeria by terrorist sect Boko Haram. The  reports has it that the children are all aged 11 and under and come from the recently recaptured Borno town. One trader in the region revealed that Boko Haram fighter had taken the children along with them as they fled on comming soldiers.

Obasanjo Fears Military May Take Over Power

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed fears over speculations that President Goodluck Jonathan could likely hand over power to the military come May 29, 2015.

Obasanjo made these fears known on March 24, Tuesday in his Abeokuta home, when wife of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Aisha Bubari, and the Southwest women leaders and spouses APC governors visited him.

According to The Nation, the former president said rumours of an interim national government was raising cause for concern, adding that military rule is no longer fashionable as it is unconstitutional.

Germanwings Plane Crash In The French Alps: 150 Feared Dead

An Airbus A320 airliner has crashed in the French Alps between Barcelonnette and Digne, French aviation officials and police have said.

The jet belongs to the German airline Germanwings, a subsidiary of Lufthansa.

The plane, flight 4U 9525, had been en route from Barcelona to Duesseldorf with 144 passengers and six crew.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to unleash a supersonic bomber towards Britain which can outrun the Royal Air Force’s fastest fighter jets. The introduction of the Blackjack follows sorties by other Russian aircraft near Cornwall last month which disrupted commercial flights and sparked major security fears. On that occasion, RAF pilots flying Typhoon jets easily caught up with two propeller-driven Bear bombers and directed their crews away from UK airspace. 21 States that may experience Post-Electoral Violence

A security threat assessment report by a non-governmental organisation, CLEEN Foundation, has identified 21 Nigerian states that may be affected by electoral violence during the March 28 and April 11 elections.

The report titled, “Election security threat assessment: Towards 2015 elections,” which was released on Thursday at a press briefing in Lagos, pointed out that the battle against the Boko Haram insurgency in the northeast would define the general elections in the northern region, The Punch reports.
