PHOTO: Aborted Baby Discovered In Uniport
The above is a horrific picture of an aborted baby, this premature baby was aborted and dumped by a park in front of University of Port Harcourt, just opposite Agofure motor park.
The dead body was discovered early morning today by passersby and park workers who opined that the baby was about 7 months old in her mother's womb before abortion. It could be deduced from freshness of the lifeless body and blood, that the baby was dropped just before dawn.

Amaechi, Tinubu Head To London To Bring Buhari Back
There is major disquiet
in the ranks of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the president-elect,
Muhammadu Buhari’s sudden trip to London.
Sources informed This Day that Buhari did not inform the party’s leadership of his trip, and he travelled to the United Kingdom with only two personal assistants. He was reportedly received at the door of the aircraft by the Nigerian high commissioner, Senator Dalhatu Tafida, and rode in the embassy official car to his usual central London holiday flat booked by his brother after rejecting the hotel booked for him by the embassy.
Police Shoots Man In Bayelsa Over N2,000
It was gathered that the incident happened last Tuesday.
Trouble however started when Mohammed engaged a woman who had hired him to clear a piece of land close to her home at Erepa Road.
According to an eyewitness, the victim was shot in the thigh by the mobile policeman after an argument ensued over the amount to be paid for the job, adding that he shot the man to demobilise him.
Mohammed was said to have refused to report the case to the constituted authorities for fear of retaliation.

Anne Meara dies at age 85
Anne Meara, actress, comedian, wife of Jerry Stiller and mother
of Ben Stiller, has died at age 85.
In a statement, Ben Stiller's representative confirmed the news:
"The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share the beloved Anne Meara
passed away last night at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband and
partner in life Jerry Stiller. The two were married for 61 years and worked
together almost as long."

This is the country where women in
miniskirts are sometimes abused by men without any repercussions, so seems to

21 year old Ugandan pop singer
Jemimah Kansiime, who performs under the stage name ‘Panadol wa Basajja’
(Medicine for Men), is facing up to ten years in
jail due to the content of a music video she made which is
being described as pornography.

Bayelsa Chief Judge to swear in Rivers Governor-elect, Nyesom Wike
The Attorney General for the Federal and
Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, has assigned the Bayelsa State Chief
Judge, Justice Kate Abiri, to swear in Rivers State Governor-elect, Nyesom
Wike, on May 29.
He said in order to avert a likely
constitutional crisis in the state, Mr. Adoke stated, “I have requested the
Chief Judge of Bayelsa State to administer the oath of allegiance and oath of
office on the governor-elect of Rivers State in accordance with section 185(2)
of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999."

were taken to court by a group of Nigerians calling for the stoppage of the
South African company’s annual price increase.
A judgement was granted restraining
MultiChoice from increasing the tariffs in Nigeria. However, and according to

flouted by DSTV who continue to increase prices.

Morsi, has been sentenced to death by an Egyptian court over a mass prison
break in 2011, BBC reports.
The Egyptian court ruled on the case

Argentine Footballer Emmanuel Ortega Dies After He Crashed Into Protective Wall
All football in Argentina has been
suspended following the death on Thursday of Emmanuel Ortega.
21 year old Ortega was a player for
San Martin Burzaco in the Argentine fifth tier, who had been hospitalised since
an incident on the 4th of May left him with a serious head injury.
On that fateful day, during a game
with Juventud Unida, Ortega went to challenge for the ball with an opposition
player. The pair went to shoulder to shoulder, and Ortega lost his balance,
tumbling head first into a concrete wall very near the touchline that was meant
to separate the fans from players.

Two-year-old boy dies in house fire 'on his birthday in Australia
A two-year-old boy has died in a house fire in Beenleigh, south of
Brisbane. Authorities believe it was the infant's birthday. His father tried to
save him. 'A two-year-old child has been found deceased, his parents are very
traumatised,' Acting Police Inspector John Henry said. 'We believe it was
his birthday today, the little fella'.
A mother and five of her children were home at the time of the fire. She
and four of her children escaped the property.

Rivers APC Chairman 'Dr Davies Ikanya' Escapes Assassination
CHAIRMAN of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Dr Davies Ikanya, on Monday night,
escaped assassination in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
It was gathered that gunmen, at about 8.45 p.m., stormed his residence on Herbert Macaulay Street, Amadi Flat, Old GRA, Port Harcourt and opened fire on the security men at the premises.
The security men were, however, able to repel the attack and the attackers fled the scene, while it was not clear, as of the time of filing this report, if the attackers were assassins or kidnappers.

18-Year-Old Ghanian Boy Beheads His Uncle’s Wife
An 18-year-old chap, Kwame Michael,
has beheaded the wife of his uncle at Nsuaem in the Ashanti Region after luring
his uncle’s wife to accompany him into the bush to carry cocoa beans from his
house.
After appearing before the Bekwai
Magistrate Court, his plea to the offence was not taken. He reportedly
confessed to the crime but is yet to reveal his motive for killing the woman,
the Daily Graphic reports.

Morgan Freeman also Wants Marijuana Legalised
A few countries in the world, most famously The
Netherlands, have already taken this step. Some states of the US also allow for
the medicinal use of marijuana.
It’s
a constant lobbying battle, and Morgan Freeman has added his voice. The veteran
actor has called for the across board legalisation of the drug he takes for
pain relief, according to the BBC.
“It
has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing
that offers any relief is marijuana”
Freeman
was in a car crash in 2008, which required four hours of surgery to repair the
nerves in his arm. He still hasn’t regained full use of his left hand, and is
in constant pain which weed helps subside.
“They’re
talking about kids who have grand mal seizures, and they’ve discovered that
marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life. That
right there, to me, says legalise it across the board.”
